RSN values you as a partner in your care.
Your diagnostic photos of the changes in your eye will be reviewed and compared to normals. You will be instructed as to how to best take care of your eye disease. We value the doctor-patient relationship and believe that education and partnership is key to vision preservation. With your permission, your doctors will receive a letter detailing the ocular findings and how your systemic health is impacting your vision. RSN will work with your other eye and healthcare providers to create a health management team with you as the center.
If you are suspicious that you have a retinal detachment or severe infection, then try to have a driver with you and do not eat or drink until your RSN doctor informs you of the plan of care. This is a surgical emergency and your care will start as soon as possible. The treatment usually makes it unwise for you to drive significant distances immediately after care.
